I have found life to be very satisfying as I interact with my family.  I have 8 sisters, 2 brothers and a host of nieces and nephews.  This is a time in our life that we have to apply the principles that we learned from my parents, Cary and Louise Patterson.

My dad, Cary Patterson died in 1985 and my mom recently passed on October 5, 2013.  They left an awesome legacy as a guide for living.  My dad was mild mannered and even though he didn't speak much, his actions told the story.  My mom, Louise Patterson loved her husband and kept her family together as she trusted in the Lord to guide her along the way.

I salute  my family as I carry on their principles for living as I instill value in my family's life.

  1. That is a very good way to live. I find that actions are better than words and tells more than you ever could. When people are pushed into a corner you see the true character. Keeping those you love close is important to maintaining your happiness.

  2. Hello Sandra,
I see you have a big family. I do as well. I lost my father in November 2010 and we are planning my mother's 80th birthday celebration for this August!
